Plans for a Guelph Ave property in Cambridge will be discussed by a committee.

After hearing about concerns about traffic and the size of the proposed construction, Cambridge council has decided to set up a committee to explore plans for a Guelph Avenue property.

A single house currently sits on the property in the Hespeler area of Cambridge.  The developer has plans to build a three-storey, twenty-four unit townhouse complex.

Cambridge councilor Donna Reid says “We thought that it would be a good idea if we sat down with the developer, with residents of the area, with staff, and with the ward councilor and let’s see what we can come up with to be more compatible.”
