Three break-ins at a west Kitchener elementary school may be connected, police say.

Waterloo Regional Police say Southridge Public School on Queen’s Boulevard was broken into twice in April, and once on Sunday.

Electronics were taken all three times. In the most recent break-in, 40 iPads with a total value of $20,000 were stolen. Additionally, a large aquarium was smashed open.

Police say they believe the iPads are likely being sold in-person or online.

They want to hear from anyone with information about the break-ins.
