One man was able to get away after robbing a Waterloo convenience store of cash, Waterloo Regional Police say.

The robbery brought police officers to the Lucky Super Convenience store at King and Columbia streets Sunday evening.

According to police, the man pulled out a knife before demanding that money be turned over.

He is described as being white, thin and 5’10”, possibly with a shaved head. Police say he was wearing a puffy black North Face leather jacket, black work pants, grey winter gloves, a black hoodie and silver-brimmed sunglasses with a tan-coloured tint.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
