On Friday evening an 18-year-old woman riding an e-bike that was being towed by an off-road motorcycle lost control and was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital.
A Norfolk County OPP officer saw the e-bike being towed on Brantford Road near Windham. The officer turned on their emergency lights, the e-bike rider then lost control of her vehicle.
The woman was taken to a Brantford hospital and then subsequently airlifted to a Hamilton hospital for treatment.
The driver of the off-road motorcycle didn’t suffer any injuries.
The SIU has been called in to investigate.
