Some residents of St. Jacobs lost power Monday morning after a single-vehicle crash.
A transport truck hit the wire supporting a utility pole, causing it to snap. The incident happened around 8:30 a.m.
Police closed King Street between Weber Street North and Farmers Market Road while hydro crews made repairs.
As of 12:15 p.m., about 35 people remained without power in the area
