LONDON, Ont. - A third person has been arrested after a police officer in London, Ont., was injured while investigating a theft from a vehicle.

Police say three officers stopped a vehicle Tuesday (in the Springbank Drive and Wonderland Road area) while investigating a theft from a vehicle.

It's alleged one of the occupants fled and when an officer leaned into an open window, the driver hit the gas and dragged the officer.

The officer was thrown clear of the vehicle when the driver swerved and suffered scrapes, bruises and a concussion.

Police say Themistoklis Kouzounas, 32, has been arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.

Two other people are also facing charges, including failing to stop for police, assaulting a police officer and attempted murder.
