First off , we would like to thank CTV for giving us the opportunity to issue a statement in an effort to clarify any misconceptions regarding our daycare in Cambridge and to reassure all the families in the community that all non-compliances that have been previously identified by the Ministry have been addressed.  The latest Ministry inspection which occurred approximately 2 weeks ago reflects 100% compliance in all areas of the DNA act and we are very proud of our staff for doing such a great job in ensuring compliance with all Ministry regulations.

Since rebranding our three locations back in March, 2015, we have met with the Ministry and forwarded a detailed plan of action that has been implemented to address the non-compliances and have put measures in place to prevent any repeat occurrences.  We have been very transparent with all the families who come to visit our centers as we are confident that our daycares are one of the best in the Region and we invite and encourage all families to come tour our centers and speak with our director and area manager to clarify any concerns which they may have.  A great deal of positive feedback has been provided by both the families and the Ministry and we are extremely confident in our centers and in the manner in which they are being operated.  Parent-Owner information sessions have been held at all our locations in an effort to improve the communication between us and our clients and to gather feedback from the families so that their concerns are properly addressed.

We have made some positive staff changes and have appointed a Regional Manager to oversee the day to day operations across all of our locations to ensure 100% compliance is maintained.  Enrollments have increased at all of our locations and we anticipate enrollments to continue to increase.  With respect to our provincial license at our Cambridge location, this is simply a provincial license that is issued by the Ministry to provide a timeline in which the Owners are provided to come into compliance.  The provincial license expires in September of this year at which point, the Ministry will conduct another inspection to verify that we are in compliance.  We are looking forward to the Ministry's visit and are confident that the provincial license will be rescinded at this time and a full license be provided to Dino & Kidz.

We want to take this opportunity to inform the community that we are working very hard to not just meet the minimum requirements of the DNA act, but to exceed these requirements and to exceed the expectations of the community.  Our goal is to be rated amongst the top childcare providers in the industry and we will continue to do whatever is necessary to attain this goal.  We also welcome the families to get in touch with our Ministry program advisor to verify all the facts surrounding our 100% compliance inspection and to drop by our center and request to see the latest license inspection summary.

And lastly, we just want to say thank you to all of the families who have continued to support us and to refer us to their family and friends.  We are part of the community and will remain part of the community for the years to come.

Sincerely,

Jamal Mayali
