A Perth County man is in hospital after a horse was spooked Thursday afternoon.
Perth County OPP say a horse and buggy was westbound on Perth Line 72, north of Milverton, with an inexperienced horse.
A car was in the process of passing the buggy when the driver lost control of the horse that had become spooked. The horse veered into the left lane and into the path of the car, where it was hit. The driver of the buggy was ejected during the crash.
A 43-year-old man from Perth East was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
