A float plane crashed into Puslinch Lake Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called around 7 p.m. after the plane crashed into the water and flipped over.
By the time they arrived a nearby boater had helped the pilot to safety.
51-year-old Ron Harper of Puslinch Township was the only occupant of the plane.
He managed to free himself from the plane and suffered only cuts and bruises to his face and arms.
The plane remains in the lake and could be removed today.
