A worker at Elmira Pet Products was electrocuted while at the Elmira manufacturer, the Ministry of Labour says.

According to a ministry spokesperson, the worker was found dead at the manufacturer by a family member.

Their death was initially thought to be due to natural causes, but an autopsy discovered the electrocution.

The ministry was contacted Saturday and began an investigation, which was ongoing as of Tuesday.
