One person received minor injuries in a bizarre collision in Waterloo on Wednesday.
Firefighters, paramedics and police were called to the scene of the collision – the Tim Hortons at Weber Street and Bridgeport Road – around 1:30 p.m.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, the driver of a car was attempting to park her vehicle outside the restaurant when she instead hit the side of an SUV, then carried on and hit the building itself.
The driver reported minor injuries, while the person sitting inside the SUV at the time was not hurt.
