If you purchased a Lotto Max ticket in Kitchener last week, you could now be $30 million richer.

There were two winning tickets for Friday night’s $60 million draw.

On was sold in Kitchener, the other in Toronto.

The winners will split the jackpot, taking home $30 million each.

Lottery terminals across the city were busy Saturday as players checked their numbers.

“I was hoping it was me but I just checked my tickets and unfortunately it wasn’t,” says Susanne Kula. “You always get that little hope, that possibility it’s you but you just keep the dream going.”

Two $1 million tickets were also sold in Ontario. One ticket was purchased in Guelph, the other in Brampton.
