Those in Waterloo Region and Wellington County may be in for some strong gusts on Saturday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the area and says to expect winds of 70 km/h, but 80 km/h are possible as well.
The winds are expected to pick up in the late afternoon and end in the night.
The weather agency warns that loose objects may be tossed around and isolated power outages are also possible.
