The Port Credit OPP are asking for witnesses to come forward after a set of wheels detached from a tractor trailer on Highway 401.
The OPP say the wheels came off the big rig just after noon on Thursday in the eastbound lanes just east of Highway 25 in Milton.
The tractor trailer continued without stopping and the wheels rolled down the highway until they hit a car.
Police aren't reporting any injuries.
