Glenn Bauman, the former Wellesley resident accused of killing his wife and stepdaughter, made his third court appearance Friday.
Like his first two appearances, it was brief, with little happening aside from Sept. 16 being set as the date for his next time in court.
Bauman is charged with murder and indignity to a body is connection with the deaths of Linda Daniel and her 13-year-old daughter Cheyenne.
The Daniels have not been seen since July 2011. Although their remains have not been found, police have said that they are confident the mother and daughter were murdered.
They were reported missing in December 2015. Bauman was arrested last month in northwestern Alberta.
He had lived with Daniel and her daughter at a home on Hessen Strasse near St. Clements.
Police have been searching that property for more than a week.
