The Elmira Sugar Kings have announced that Paul Jennings will take over the position of General Manager for the 2011-12 GOHL Junior 'B' hockey season.
The Sugar Kings are this year's Midwestern Conference champions and are getting set to open the Sutherland Cup round-robin on the road Friday night.
Elmira (12-5-0 in the playoffs) will visit the Niagara Falls Canucks (12-2-1) this Friday at 7:30 pm.
Game #2 will go Sunday night, when the Canucks travel to St. Thomas to face the Stars (12-0-4). Elmira hosts St. Thomas in Game #3 Wednesday night.
The top two teams at the conclusion of the six-game round-robin will then meet in the best-of-seven Sutherland Cup championship for the OHA Junior 'B' title.
