Police in Brantford continue to search for the man who stabbed a stranger in Brantford over the long weekend.
The incident, which took place early Sunday morning on Duke Street near West Street, began as a verbal altercation.
According to police, two people were approached by two others, whom they did not know, and the argument eventually turned into a physical fight.
One man was stabbed in the chest as a result, and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not been able to track down the alleged stabber, who they say may have also been injured during the event.
He is described as being in his 20s with an average build and short hair, and may go by the name Brandon.
