The results are in from this year’s Stuff-a-Bus campaign.
From Friday through Sunday, Stuff-a-Bus donations for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank were accepted at Zehrs stores across the region.
Actual buses were set up at the Laurentian Power Centre and Cambridge Centre locations, with goals set to fill each bus with donated food.
In total, the campaign raised 46,487 pounds of food, and more than $32,000 in cash – enough to provide 133,000 meals across the community.
The annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign is sponsored by CTV Kitchener, 105.3 KOOL FM and 99.5 KFUN.
