Officers executed a search warrant at a home in the Willow Road and Applewood Crescent area on Wednesday.

During the search, investigators said they found a Smith & Wesson 9 mm handgun with an extended magazine, a small amount of cocaine and more than $5,000 in cash.

Police also said several people inside the home were under orders not to associate with each other.

Three men from Guelph, two women from Guelph, and a man from Kitchener face multiple charges including possession of a firearm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possessing proceeds of crime, possessing a controlled substance and breaching court orders.
