Several months may pass before police learn what killed Mark McCreadie.

The body of McCreadie, 50, was found last week in a wooded area near Victoria Park in Kitchener.

Police consider his death to be suspicious, and homicide detectives are leading the investigation into the case.

An autopsy was performed Friday, but initially proved inconclusive.

A second review of the autopsy was conducted, but Waterloo Regional Police said Monday that it too failed to determine McCreadie’s cause of death.

Toxicology reports have been ordered, but police say it could be a number of months before they are completed.
