The family of four of the victims of the truck-van collision that killed 11 people on Monday is seeking legal advice on liability issues.

Toronto lawyer Juan Carranza says the family is in the process of retaining him.

He says he'll help with insurance claims and any possible liability angles -- such as the van's mechanical fitness.

Two of the survivors of the crash are now listed in fair condition, but at last word the third was still in critical.

Service held to remember victims

A prayer service was being held Friday evening for the victims of a crash that killed 11 people near Stratford.

The non-denominational service was organized by the Diocese of London.

The diocese says the service is for victims of the crash and their families, and to recognize emergency workers.

Ten migrant workers in a van and a truck driver died when the truck broadsided the van Monday in Hampstead.
