The preliminary hearing for one of the three murders Dellen Millard is accused of committing was scheduled to begin Monday in Toronto.

Monday’s hearing relates to the death of his father, Wayne Millard, whose death was initially ruled a suicide.

The case was re-examined in 2013, following Dellen Millard being charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Tim Bosma.

Bosma, a resident of Hamilton, was last seen alive in May 2013, leaving with two men to test drive a truck he had listed for sale.

His remains were later discovered on a farm property in North Dumfries that Millard owned.

Mark Smich is also charged with first-degree murder in connection with Bosma’s death.

Jury selection for the trial of the two men is scheduled to start later this month.

Millard is also accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, Laura Babcock.
