Woodstock Police say they’re looking for three people following a home invasion in the city’s west end.
The intrusion occurred at a home on Hay Street, and was reported to police Wednesday night.
According to police, three men had forced their way into the home through its front door, displayed weapons, and assaulted the two people inside.
The trio then allegedly stole various electronic items, and left in a vehicle that was waiting for them on Russell Street.
The two people inside the home were injured, although only one required medical attention.
All three people behind the home invasion were black men, police say.
One is described as being approximately 5’9” tall and heavyset, and was seen wearing black jogging pants, a sweater and a white scarf or mask that covered his face.
The second is said to be thin and have a black beard, and was seen in all black clothing.
The third is believed to be approximately 5’8” tall and very thin, and was wearing a white mask and a “salt and pepper” Roots-brand tracksuit.
Police say anyone with information about the attack should call them at 519-537-2323 or contact Crime Stoppers.
