Now in its third week, the Terry Tremble murder trial continued Tuesday in Guelph with testimony from an OPP officer.

Tremble is facing charges of first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife, Adrienne Roberts, whose body was found in the couple’s Arthur home in 2010. He has pleaded not guilty.

Police investigating the death were initially unable to find Roberts’ vehicle, a Jeep SUV. It wasn’t parked at her home, but was later found in the parking lot of a nearby auto parts plant.

The factory had security cameras pointed at the parking lot, and the officer said images were recovered from the cameras, but did not elaborate.

Jurors have previously heard that Roberts regretted marrying Tremble one year prior and wanted a divorce, but feared retribution from Tremble.

Other witnesses have said Tremble was upset over Roberts’ financial habits and that he wanted to spend more time with his son.

The trial will resume Wednesday with the OPP officer back on the witness stand.
