The Ontario Federation of Labour is calling on workers across the province to show solidarity for those locked out of a London locomotive plant.

The OFL says it will take a stand against the lockout at Electro-Motive Canada in a massive rally scheduled for January 21st.

The company locked out 420 workers on January 1st after making a take-it-or-leave-it offer that the union says included a 55 per cent wage cut and other concessions.

Electro-Motive is owned by heavy equipment giant Caterpillar through its Progress Rail subsidiary.
