A 29-year-old man is facing charges after an incident Tuesday night in Cambridge.
Police say they were called to a disturbance on Walter Street in Preston that began as a family dispute before escalating.
A police tactical team was brought in over threats made about a weapon.
Officers were on the scene for nearly six hours before the man was taken into custody. Police say he was intoxicated at the time of the arrest.
The man is facing charges of uttering threats, assault and weapons offences.
