It’s been a week since Correctional Service Canada (CSC) put the biggest prison for women on lock down.

It started back on October the 6th and was lifted sometime today.

In a release, CSC will only say that a number of unauthorized items were found during an exceptional search.

Now that the lock down has been lifted, visits to the institution have resumed.
