For the third straight day, Waterloo Regional Police were at an apartment in central Kitchener as they continue to look into the disappearance of a woman who lives inside.
Kate Lynn Reid, 51, was last seen in early January. Her disappearance was reported to police near the end of the month.
Police initially believed Reid may have left the area to visit family, but said Monday – after setting up a command post outside her Burn Place apartment – that they now consider her disappearance suspicious.
Tuesday, police called in a fire truck to help them see the apartment from above.
Investigators were seen in the truck’s aerial bucket, taking photographs of the building, as well as inside an upper-floor unit.
Reid is described as being 5’6” and 110 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
