A man sought in connection with the suspicious death of a Kitchener woman is at large and should be considered dangerous, police say.
Melinda Vasilije, 22, was found dead inside an apartment building on Country Hill Drive around 3 a.m. Friday.
Neighbours say she had moved into the building earlier this month.
Waterloo Regional Police say her death is believed to have been a targeted attack. They are looking for a 24-year-old Hamilton man named Ager Mohsin Hasan in connection with the death.
According to police, Hasan drives a black 2016 Honda HR-V with the Ontario licence plate BPKT509, which was seen crossing into the United States via the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie.
Police say Hasan is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who encouters him should call 911.
