Guelph police are investigating after a female said she was attacked in the area of Speedvale Avenue West and Kathleen Street.

Investigators believe she was assaulted on April 25th between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

They said she left the area where the assault happened and headed westbound, where she was later found. She was taken to hospital for treatment.

Although police said the victim was ‘not forthcoming with information,’ they believe she was attacked after getting into an argument with a male she knew.

There are no concerns for public safety.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact police.
