One man is dead and another was taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash on Brant Highway 53 west of Middletownline Road.
Brant County OPP say around 3 a.m. a black Acura was westbound when it entered the south ditch, rolled over several times and struck a tree.
Sheldon Howell, 20, of Norfolk County was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to Brantford General Hospital with minor injuries and later released.
According to the OPP, alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Police are continuing their investigation, but the highway was expected to be reopened around 11 a.m.
