Another brief court appearance ended on Friday with Elizabeth Wettlaufer remaining without a trial date.

Wettlaufer is accused of killing seven seniors at the Caressant Care nursing home in Woodstock, Ont., and one at the Meadow Park home in London, Ont. by administering lethal doses of drugs to them.

She has been in custody since being arrested last October on eight counts of murder

Four counts of attempted murder followed, along with two counts of aggravated assault. Some of those allegations relate to her time working at Telfer Place in Paris.

On Friday, Wettlaufer made a brief appearance in Woodstock court via a video link.

Her next appearance is scheduled for June 1. It is believed that she will be in court in-person on that date.
