A former restaurant and business owner in Stratford, Ont. is facing 31 new fraud charges.

Kevin Larson, 37, was arrested on Thursday.

The Stratford Police Service said they launched an investigation in May 2023 after receiving a complaint.

Larson is charged with 10 counts of fraud under $5,000 and 21 counts of fraud under $5,000.

They are in addition to another dozen other fraud-related charges which were laid in January 2024. Those charges are still working their way through the court system.

Police said Larson was given an undertaking and released from custody after his arrest. He has a court date set for Feb. 10.

None of the allegations of fraud have been proven in court.

Larson was the one-time owner of The Hub and a number of other restaurants, businesses and properties in the city.
