Provincial police say the death of a two-year-old at a farm in Mornington Township on Tuesday was an accident.
EMS and police were called to the farm around 2 p.m. and the child was transported to Listowel Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the child had been playing on a pile of logs when the logs shifted and caused the fatal injuries.
The boy has been identified as Albert Bauman of Mornington Township.
