Security camera footage was the main evidence presented Wednesday at the first-degree murder trial of Terry Tremble.

Tremble is accused of killing his wife, Adrienne Roberts, whose body was discovered in the couple’s Arthur home in October 2010. He has pleaded not guilty.

On Tuesday, an OPP officer testified that Roberts’ vehicle was found in the parking lot of an auto parts plant not far from the couple’s home.

The court was told there was a security camera pointed at the parking lot.

Wednesday, jurors saw footage from that camera.

In the video, a man who looks similar to Tremble is seen driving a reddish-coloured Ford Explorer into the parking lot and then leaving the area on foot around 2:12 a.m. on Oct. 6 – the same day Roberts’ body was found.

Eight hours later, the camera captured a man, again looking similar to Tremble, driving a Jeep – alleged to belong to Roberts – into the same parking lot and driving away in the Ford.

The Ford in the video looks similar to Tremble’s vehicle, with similar dents and decals. The Ford had a broken foglight, much like Tremble’s truck.

After the Crown finished its examination of OPP forensic video analyst Gerald Lanna, the defence had no questions.

Lanna was the Crown’s last witness. With defence lawyers saying they won’t call any evidence, closing arguments in the trial are set for next Tuesday.
