The Ontario government says the redevelopment of Cambridge Memorial Hospital is complete and it will now help people across Cambridge, North Dumfries and Waterloo Region get health care.

Premier Doug Ford says his government is investing in building hospitals, bringing on more doctors and nurses, and expanding home and community care.

The province says it invested over 220 million dollars to redevelop the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

It says more than four-hundred-thousand square feet of hospital space was renovated and redeveloped to build a new patient care tower, which will increase hospital capacity by over 30 per cent.
