City staff in Cambridge marked 2012 in traditional fashion this afternoon by holding a Mayor's Levee.
Mayor Doug Craig outlined some of his goals for the upcoming year.
It's an opportunity for Mayor Craig to mingle with residents and share ideas outside of council chambers.
The Mayor says his top priorities for the New Year include making sure the new wing at Cambridge Memorial Hospital is built and getting Go-Train service into the city.
Mayor Craig also wants to make sure Cambridge gets a fair shake at Regional Council meetings. "We have to understand this is a regional metropolitan area, and we're all partners. All we ask is that we be treated as an equal partner."
Kitchener Mayor Carl Zehr and Waterloo Mayor Brenda Halloran will be hosting their annual Levee on January 8th.
