A Brantford man is charged with robbery after allegedly attacking his own grandmother.
According to Brantford Police, the grandmother woke up early Thursday morning to the sight of her 24-year-old grandson demanding that she give him money and her credit card.
The woman refused to turn over the items, and try to leave her home – at which point the man allegedly grabbed her by the side of her neck.
Police say the woman was able to get away, find her way to her daughter’s home and call police from there.
No injuries were reported.
