For the second time in a week, police are investigating the theft of an ATM from a Brantford-area business.
Early Tuesday morning, police learned that an ATM had been stolen from Lynden Park Mall. According to Brantford police, the thief or thieves got inside by smashing multiple doors.
One week earlier, a similar break-in brought police to a restaurant on Colborne Street, just east of Brantford’s city limits.
The restaurant building had been significantly damaged as an ATM was stolen from inside.
Anyone with information about either theft is asked to contact police.
