Nearly four months after a fast food restaurant at Kitchener’s south end was robbed, police say they’ve arrested the fourth and final person responsible for the robbery.

The 24-year-old Kitchener resident was arrested Monday, Waterloo Regional Police said.

Police did not disclose where the man was arrested.

He is charged with robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent to commit a crime, and breaching his probation and recognizance orders in connection with the Sept. 15, 2015, robbery of the McDonald’s on Homer Watson Boulevard near Conestoga College Boulevard.

At the time, police said that four people had entered the restaurant with weapons and left with cash, without firing their weapons.

Three people were taken into custody shortly after the robbery, but the fourth eluded police at that time.
