Grey County OPP say they’ve found the people responsible for a home invasion in Meaford.

Jewelry and cash were stolen from the Miller Street home Saturday afternoon.

Police said at the time that two men made their way into the home via an unlocked door, demanded cash and left after an altercation occurred and items were turned over.

The residents of the home – a couple in their 80s – were injured, but not seriously.

Wednesday, police announced that a 19-year-old man and a 40-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.

The two Meaford residents face charges including robbery, breaking and entering, disguising with intent to commit a criminal act, possession of stolen property and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
