A 17-year-old girl has lost her driver’s licence and vehicle for one week, and could face further consequences through the court system.
Waterloo Regional Police say the girl was stopped in Kitchener around 9:15 a.m. Monday.
A radar device allegedly tracked her speed at 106 km/h on Westmount Road between Glasgow and Victoria streets. The speed limit along that stretch of Westmount is 50 km/h.
The girl faces charges of stunt driving, speeding and careless driving.
