3rd year quarterback Jamie Cook says he is ready to lead the Waterloo Warriors football team both on and off the field. Cook and the Warriors begin their OUA season on Monday afternoon facing the Carleton Ravens at Warrior Field.
Cook is the number one pivot after splitting time last season with Kitchener native Brian Chris, who has graduated from the University of Waterloo.
Cook had 3 touchdowns last year and over 800 yards through the air and he is hoping to lead Waterloo back to the playoffs for the first time since 2002. The Warriors finished last year with a record of 1-7. Kickoff for their season opener is at 1:00pm on Labour Day Monday.
