A trial date has been set for the man accused of killing and dismembering the 26-year-old man in Woodstock, Ont.

Fair's remains were found in the backyard of a Woodstock home in the fall of 2008 after he had been missing for over a month.

John Douglas Robinson, 43, is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 7. He also faces charges of committing an indignity to a body.

First degree murder charges were dismissed against Robinson in 2010 after a judge found there was insufficient evidence, but that decision was overturned by the attorney general.

The trial is expected to last five weeks, however it's is unclear if the trial will be held in Oxford County. The defence has said it plans to apply for a change of venue.

Amy Gilbert-Cassidy pleaded guilty to being an accessory to Fair's murder in 2009.
