A tentative agreement has been reached between the Region of Waterloo and local nurses.
The region and the union representing approximately 130 nurses who work for the public health department have been working on an agreement with mediation.
An agreement between the two sides was set late Monday.
The members of the Ontario Nurses Association and Waterloo Region officials have yet to ratify the agreement.
