Three different police services are investigating a trio of gas station robberies that occurred within an hour of each other.

All three robberies occurred in the Brantford-Simcoe area, and police describe similar suspects in all three cases.

The first robbery took place a little after 11:30 p.m., at a Petro-Canada location on Queensway West in Simcoe.

According to Norfolk County OPP, a man demanded money, and left the store when cash was turned over.

The man, who is described as six feet tall and was wearing a black ski mask, camouflage jacket and dark gloves, was last seen heading westbound from the store.

Around 12:16 a.m., a second robbery was reported at a Petro-Canada on Clarence Street South in Brantford.

Brantford Police say a man walked into the store with a baseball bat, demanded money, and left when the clerk told him she was calling police.

Police describe that man as 6’1” tall with a stock build, and say he was wearing a camouflage coat and a balaclava.

The final robbery was reported at 12:38 a.m., at the Pioneer gas station on Colborne Street East in Cainsville, outside Brantford.

Brant County OPP say a man walked into the store with a weapon, and demanded money.

He left with cash, and was last seen eastbound on Colborne.

The man behind the third robbery is described as white and six feet tall, weighing about 220 pounds, and was also wearing a black ski mask, camouflage jacket and dark gloves.
