An 18-year-old female from Niagara Falls was taken to hospital Friday night with serious head injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
The incident happened at Fischer Hallman and University Avenue in Waterloo around 8:30 p.m.
Police say the woman was trying to cross University Avenue when she was hit.
The intersection was blocked to traffic while police tried to re-construct the crash.
Officials don’t believe speed or alcohol were factors.
