Lambton County OPP have eliminated a large marijuana grow operation.
Police were called on the morning of Friday, September 23 a suspected patch of marijuana was spotted on a rural property north of Chatham.
When officers arrived at the site on Bentpath Line, in Dawn-Euphemia Township, they discovered a large-scale, outdoor marijuana cultivation operation.
Lambton County OPP, West Region Emergency Response Unit and a canine unit soured the area.
Police seized and destroyed over five thousand mature pot plants with a street value of over $5 million.
