Animals caught in a burning barn were able to be taken to safety Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the barn on Indiana Road West, east of Hagersville and south of Caledonia, around 3 p.m.
According to Haldimand County OPP, they were still battling the fire an hour later.
While there were animals in the barn when the fire broke out, OPP say they were all moved outside.
Indiana Road West was expected to be closed for several hours.
