Several departments responded to a fire on the outskirts of Elmira Wednesday afternoon.
A shed caught fire on a property on Lawson Line, about ten minutes west of the town.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the shed for some time but the fire was quickly brought under control.
Crews had to remove steel from the top of the structure so the flames could be extinguished.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
There is no damage estimate at this point.
